I'm glad to hear this. I use to be a member of the methodist church but left because they could just not make up their minds on something that is obviously Biblical.

I'm a Wesleyan, or at least have gone to a Wesleyan church for much of my life, and currently attend a Wesleyan university..
But, I try not to get too worked up over conflicting doctrine between denominations. I just read the book and try to do what it says..
most of the "gray areas" in scripture, at least in my experience, are of less importance than the most obvious commandments of Christ and scripture, like "go unto all the world" and "love your neighbor"..
The main points of contention (like eternal security and the like) honestly don't really matter if you are living your life for Christ... Trying to be the judge of my own actions is too difficult, God will be the judge when it all comes down to it. :)

Yeah, I am a Nazarene, which doctrinaly is pretty must the same as Wesleyan. In fact my wife was a Wesleyan before we got married :). I do not get stuck on doctrine I am in a CHurch because I belive the doctrine of the church. Now i'm not saying that makes anyone elses wrong. As long as you have Biblical evidence for your beliefs thats fine with me. I believe in Wesleyan Holiness Doctrine and can justify it with the Bible. I know people who believe Eternal Security and can back that up with Biblical justification. I won't fight those battles. But, things like homosexuality are very clear in the Bible and I don't see how any Christian can just ignore them and belive otherwise. Now i'm not saying to hate homosexuals like some Christian do. We are to love our neighbor and its a sin just like lying is a sin and should be treated as such.
Amen!
