Back To Church Sunday Is This Week

With Labor Day having come and gone, the last remnants of summer are fading and even the latest starting schools are back in session.

With the onset of fall comes the return or routine for many, including returning to church after months – or years away. Back To Church Sunday is scheduled this Sunday, Sept. 12. More than 1.4 million invitations from over 3,700 churches have been extended to unchurched people to attend the special service.

At 100 Years Old, Oklahoma Pastor Still Takes To The Pulpit

Goins helped build an Assembly of God church in Haydonville, Okla., in 1940, and while spending his weeks at an assisted living center, he still spends Sunday mornings at the pulpit. His travels as a pastor took to several different states before he returned to Haydonville nearly 30 years ago.
